five THINGS I can rECALL FROM CANNONBALL RUN
- The police cars are Camaros.
- Burt Reynolds is drinking beer while flying a plane with Dom Delouise. When they run out of beer, Reynolds lands the plane on Main Street where the portly Delouise exits the airplane (engine running) and dashes to a nearby grocery store to purchase two more six-packs.
- The name of Burt Reynolds' boat is Belly Dancer.
- Burt Reynolds, after introducing himself to a young woman, slyly informs her: “I’ll just call you beauty.”
- Burt Convey holding a martini while skydiving out of a plane on a motorcycle.
