CORDUROY

One day only celebrities and their descendents will inhabit the earth. It will be a transcendent world populated by privilege and beauty. Lives will be conducted in a communal atmosphere dictated by the overriding guiding principles of self-congratulation and mutual admiration. There will be no time for dissention among the brothers and sisters mingling in this golden age of eternal flattery.

This is the future. A bright future but it remains years away. For now, we must content ourselves with the inevitability of this new world order. It lies before us like a bright and shiny rhinestone. Our celebrity worship will inevitably lead to world peace. Our unforgivable obsession with the insignificant will be our saving grace.

Until then do your patriotic duty.

Go on a vacation.

Buy a new car.

Give bigger, more expensive gifts to the ones you love.

Defend liberty.
