fur helmets stare directly into the sun

with electrified tufts of face hair

drinking milk from our pond.
Tiny kittens will never attend a party at the Playboy Mansion.
They will never meet Hugh Hefner
or James Caan
For this we are grateful
because
a vacuum reflects no light.
